- How fermentation works
- The health benefits of fermentation (nutritional and gut health)
- Easy, step-by-step methods to make sauerkraut, kimchi, lacto-fermented vegetables, milk kefir and kombucha
- Common mistakes and troubleshooting
- Sampling of a wide variety of different fermented food
- In-class fermentation project (to take home)
- Each participant will also be given a kombucha SCOBY culture to take home
